A Canadian girl & kiwi guy tie the knot. They wanted a down-to-earth invite, that represented their outdoor wedding, with a bit of a romantic ‘fairy lights at night’ feel. I chose the iconic Silver Fern and Maple leaves to represent their Canadian and New Zealand heritage, these are placed on opposite sides of the invite, coming together in the middle to symbolise the union of these two wonderful individuals. The stunning yet casual calligraphic font and water colour style was used to give this design a hand made feel, printed on an uncoated paper stock to further instil this ideal.
